In January 2025, Geroge Shen, President of the California Gemological Institute in the United States, was officially appointed as an expert committee member of the Jewelry and Gemstone Evaluation Committee under the China ISC2000 Standard Review Committee, specializing in jewelry and gemstones. This appointment signifies that Shen Xiong's outstanding achievements and professional contributions in the field of gemology have gained widespread recognition both internationally and domestically.

The ISC2000 standard was established and promulgated in 2000 by the Art Quality Department of the Cultural Market Development Center under the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the most important standard systems in China's jewelry and gemstone industry. The standard aims to regulate the identification, evaluation, and quality control of the jewelry and gemstone market, promoting the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
